My name is Monique van Poppel, living in the south of the Netherlands. My passion for purebred dogs began nearly 30 years ago with shelties and on a very small scale pomeranians. During the years I successfully bred many show champions but also some top agility dogs (shelties).

All dogs on this website are owned by both me and Nick Hilferink (kennel Moonrising) who is my associate for over 10 years. I met him through the dogworld. My interest in amstaffs grew into a passion. Within a short period of time we partnered up which resulted in a beautiful collection of dogs, nice trips around Europe and the USA. 
I am still active in breeding shelties but on a much lower scale than I used to be in the past. I quit breeding pomeranians.

Our program is designed to produce high quality American Staffordshire Terriers, striving for temperament and conformation in specific American bloodlines.
We promote and care for the breed standard.
